Hey, kids! Ever dreamed of traveling to a world and become what you wanted to be when you grow up? Buckle up, because today we are going to take a trip to a city like no other: Kidzania!
Here’s what you need to know:
Kidzania has its own currency
Your first stop will be the Kidzania International Airport, where you will be given a wristband to wear while inside the city. You will also get your first 50 KidZos, the currency used here, as well as a map.
In Kidzania, cool kids know how to save
Learn the value of saving your money by making the next stop in the bank. You will have your own passbook and an ATM card.
There are over 55 jobs to try in this city
And now, comes the fun part! Get your creative juices flowing by writing for the daily newspaper. You can fulfill your dream of saving the town against a fire in your firefighter gear. Join the CSI Department of the police station and solve mysteries and crimes. All of these jobs will help you earn KidZos! However, some jobs will require you to spend as well, an example would be learning how to fly an airplane. Or spend a few KidZos to decorate a mamon that you can later bring home and eat!
You’ll get to learn the city language, too!
Learn the language, kids! Say “Kai” when greeting each other and “Zank you or Zanks” when you want to say thank you. “Zaz!” means “Wow!” and “ZU” means “See you!”
The goal of KidZania is to teach kids to be independent
That means mom and dad are often asked to remain outside the different establishments or at the Parent’s Lounge on the second floor. Don’t worry, they’ll be back for you.
To earn more KidZos, try working for a university degree
You also earn more when you buy a KidZanian passport—a handy tool if you plan to travel to this city a lot. Benefits vary according to your level.
KidZania Manila is located at Park Triangle, North 11th Avenue, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig. For more information, call (+632) 711-KIDZ (5439) or email email@example.com.
